Who is this program for?

Entrepreneurs, executives, business owners and self-employed professional people face a number of challenging situations which lead to stress. Stress affects health adversely often leading to high blood pressure, diabetes, depression and lowered resistance to infections.

What causes stress and how does it manifest in a work setting?

Stress is often caused by cash shortages, unhappy customers, change, lack of respect at work, conflicts with managers or coworkers, slow promotions, boredom, low compensation, no future. New business owners often don’t realize the amount of work involved in setting up and running a business or the business is unproductive. Self-employed professionals may find that their practice is not building fast enough.

Anger or resentment can build up, taking toll on the person or family. Relationships can suffer. Morale falls. Sleep is affected. Staff may become scared and performance drops. One’s own productivity declines.

In time stress leads to declining profits and chronic health issues.

What does the program do?

This program puts you back on track to wellness. You begin to experience more energy and be more productive. You perform better at work and enjoy better relationships. You find that you have more profits and save on health care costs.

How long does it last?

The usual duration is six weeks, but it can take more or less time depending on your current situation and intended outcomes.

How is it structured?

We begin with an assessment of your current status and needs. Then we develop an action plan tailored to your situation. We have sessions every week which last one hour. As may be necessary I may give you assignments and exercises to do. You will also get support by email and brief telephone calls between sessions.
